H-Town Sculptures

This custom designed “H-Town” sculpture is Taft McWhorter’s latest creation. Born and raised in Houston, Taft is proud of his hometown.

This sculpture is part of a larger project that will include a 20-30 foot sculpture of the same design

to be placed in a prominent Houston location in 2026.

In the meantime, there are 3 different replica sizes to choose from.

The following replicas are made of 1/8” mild steel fabricated by Jose Estrada of Boyer, Inc and painted by Taft and Dana McWhorter.

The design features Taft’s personal style of lettering used in his Double Entendre series.

The colors represent Houston’s sport teams (Astros, Texans, Dash, Dynamo and Rockets)

and also gives a special nod to our beloved Houston artist David Adickes.
